Great Bow for money but needs clearer instructions December 25, 2009 Stephen W. Smith It looks great, and is fantastic value for the price, but for anyone new toarchery this type of bow is couner-intuitive and needs to be bent in the opposite direction before stringing to get extra tension. My teenage boys were pretty fed up with the string keep coming off until an archery friend showed us.
So I'd rate the bow as 5 Stars, but then knock 1 star off for unclear instructions !
A recurve bow just like when I was a kid September 5, 2009 Mazonman (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My new Titan 60 inch recurve 30# fiberglass bow functions as advertised. I am grateful to WTA for providing prompt service when we had questions. It's about time we had a choice when buying a basic bow to learn archery. Next; a compound bow...
Fiberglass practice bow August 30, 2009 Dave (New Jersey) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is just what I wanted. A bow that was NOT a compound bow. A previous reviewer said that it was just like the bow he remembered practicing with in high school, and I would confirm that. I had one just like it when I was in high school that I bought from the Boy Scout store and spent many enjoyable hours shooting into hay bales in the back yard. Strangely, it seems you can't get bows like this any more at sporting goods stores or the Boy Scouts-- the only bows of similar draw weight seem to be compound bows. This one draws well and is fun for my fourteen year old, as well as me.
Nice Bow June 13, 2009 C. Miller 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I ordered this bow because of the decent reviews it got, but also because i have wanted to start archery. This is a very nice beginners bow and i was surprised by the price i thought i would be paying much more.
i got the Feather Fletched Easton XX75 Blues Arrows 6-pack
they are nice arrows and they work well with this bow
Good for traditional begineers June 4, 2009 Blake Turner (Hixson, Tennessee) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This bow is really good for starters in traditional archery or just for fun. It can shoot accurately and it is very durable. It can slap your arm so use protection, it will pack a punch. Another bad thing is the string it comes with doesn't seem to fit it well, you may have to twist the string a few times in order for it to stay on the ends.
